According to Greek myth, many plants were once human - run afoul of a god's temper, or pity. We take a look at some of these unlucky people.

"They say monsters can be beautiful too, and if that is the case then truly there was none more monstrous than he."

They may not be throwing thunderbolts, and sending storms, but the minor gods of Greco-Roman myth had their own (very odd) parts to play.
